As martial artists it’s important to remember that the things we do on the mat daily can be hard on our bodies. In order to insure longevity for ourselves to continue doing what we love, we have to remember to take time to rest! Stretching is a habit that would be beneficial for you to create. If you haven’t already, do a little research on some basic stretches and you will see a significant change in your training. PVC pipes/rollers can be your best friends! If you can’t find someone to get those knots out of you, a roller may be worth investing. When all else fails, RICE!
