Communication and the Martial Way

Communication in Martial Arts

Be the example of what you want others to aspire to. We often look at others and see flaws. These are either previous traits exhibited by the self or direct reflections. In the event that recognition of previously possessed behaviors are discovered, assist.

Too often we are in the position to help someone out, but we decide it is either too difficult or you become apathetic because these actions are habitual.  What if that were the case in everyone’s life?  Who would stand up for the person who couldn’t stand up?  Is it so different to help someone with a fixable character flaw than helping someone with a flat tire?  Communicate well and all can be handled.

Everyone has the ability to help out. What would have happened during the creative process of Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Kali / Silat, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) etc if mistakes weren’t corrected or communication wasn’t clear: where would we be? The martial arts speak a universal language (as discussed in previous posts ). There is nothing short of the truth on the mat.
