Well the Holidays are on our doorstep, how time flies! When one thinks of the Holiday season family gatherings and exchanging gifts may come to mind. Sometimes we tend to forget that others may not be as fortunate to experience the holidays as most do. As martial artists we all know that how we are on the mat reflects our character and what we stand for off the mat. The life of a martial artist is a selfless and giving one.

Every year the Los Angeles City Fire Department  (http://www.lafdsertoma.org/toyprogram.html) works with various agencies and organizations to bring Holiday cheer to the youth of Los Angeles who have very little or have lost everything. Elite Training Center has been working with the LAFD for the past few years to bring Holiday cheer into the lives of children who need it. Now is the time to rally together with our firefighters as martial artists to step up and lead our community by example.We all have the capability to make a huge impact on Los Angeles during the Holidays.

We will be accepting any new unwrapped toys, sporting goods or stuffed animals all the way up until we close the school for the Holidays. Remember, our firefighters aren’t the only leaders and heroes in our community. Together, we will show the world how martial arts can shape the world and kids!
