Krav Maga, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kali and MMA all come with a price. This upcoming weekend marks a huge milestone for some of our instructors.
Two Elite Training Center instructors will spend 3 days utilizing their acquired skill sets in Krav Maga, BJJ, MMA, Kali, and Muay Thai Kickboxing as they test for KRAV MAGA BLACK BELT acquisition. One other member will be joining them after 10 strong years with Elite Training Center, a shoulder surgery and a torn ACL. Their ages range from 22 years of age to 51 years of age. What a truly exciting thing to be a part of and more importantly a very exciting time to be affiliated with Elite.
It is important to note that those people who are testing also teach and work countless hours. There not being enough time in their day to train means nothing. They look for the hours to train and sacrifice for something bigger than them; both mentally and physically. Although this is the method of many martial artists, it is not done without the help of others. It all paints a grand picture of what it takes to become or achieve something great. Preparation is diligence. They will work as a team throughout and whatever the outcome, the perspective will be shared and varied. They will understand what more they need to do rather than admire what they’ve accomplished.
Turning words like “obstacles” into moments. At the moment that you hear a family member is dying, it is far from a obstacle. It is something known only by those who have experienced it. What makes a person successful is perspective. To see something as an obstacle is creating a means to not succeed. This does not lessen nor negate any situations severity; perspective. Some people’s bodies are held together with desire and unrelenting tenacity, yet they make their way to their ultimate goal.
