Discipline-activity, exercise, or a regimen that develops or improves a skill; training. Sure, there were 11 other definitions, but this one in particular pertains to what we do at Elite Training Center.
While mastering any skill one must invest time and energy. Whether it be achieving a black belt in Krav Maga, to become Kru in Thai Boxing / Kickboxing, or becoming the next champion of the mixed martial arts world; only by executing a disciplined regimen can goals and dreams be realized.
Everyday people struggle to find time to train. There are always excuses NOT to train. The human mind is capable of rationalizing the most extraordinary of them.
Using discipline however, gives us reasons to train. Recognition of the difference is an integral piece of disciplining our minds and bodies. Should this be an easy thing to do? We’d love to say so. But are our proudest moments achieved taking the easiest route? If a black belt were handed to you in 6 months would you be able to wear it proudly, knowing that others work for years to reach that level?
