Elite Training Center: Thank You To All

Elite Training Center: Thank You To All

We’ve seen a lot of great changes happening around Elite Training Center. Our Krav Maga programs continue to flourish based upon the great participation of all Elite‘s students. Students are understanding the cross pollination of Muay Thai kickboxing and how much more functional and effective Krav Maga and MMA can be with it. Most importantly, people support one another.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure to be a part of something as great as Elite Training Center. I wanted to extend my true gratitude to all of the people who have entrusted Elite’s staff to fulfill their self defense and fitness needs.

Gratitude

Typically I wake up and take the dog for a walk. I get my coffee and walk to the beach. I make it a point to look at the ocean at least once a day. It puts so much into perspective. Where we live and what we get to do for a living is a remarkable thing. I couldn’t, more importantly wouldn’t if it weren’t for some really fantastic and genuine folks who train at Elite.

We all work very hard during the day. When I say “we” I mean all of us, instructors, assistants, admins and students. We work as one to achieve the goals we set out for. That’s what it is all about though. Hard work with determination. Training both physically and mentally is what propels us to the next level. It isn’t about waiting for it to happen. It’s about making it happen. It is understanding that our legacy is what we live for. It isn’t the “things” we can buy or the trips we can take. It is the effort and the output to earn those things.

I see the same faces everyday. I am thankful for that. I am thankful for the awesome text messages I receive at random. I am thankful for the emails I receive telling me about how much of an impact the school has had. When we sit down and talk about moving up into the next level, I love to hear people talk about “the environment.” This is about all of us putting the work in. This is about everyone putting two feet on the mat and focusing as a team for 1,2, or even 3 hours straight.

There is nothing I would rather do. There is nothing I would rather be. Everyone who has come through Elite’s doors has had an impact on me. Some of it bad, but mostly good. I will take lessons from both. We are works in progress. We will continue to get better and stronger everyday. I’m with you if you’re with me. Truthfully, I would probably be with you even if you weren’t with me.

Thank you everyone. I am thankful, I am grateful.
