Clarity and Pace

Be clear when you are training with your partners. Be clear in your communication. Too often we rush through techniques which can lead to neglecting important pieces of information. Within that “rush” comes too much power. This often times can result in both parties going too hard. This is why it is important to communicate and operate at your partners ability. It is the responsibility of the senior student to lead in the best way possible.

Krav Maga, considered fast, aggressive and brutal needs to be taught and learned at a pace in which technique can be understood. This leads to proper application. The same can be said for Muay Thai (kickboxing, boxing), Kali Silat, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

We must continue to be clear and refined in our approach to learning, teaching and understanding. Being a good partner can have better results faster and allow for a deeper understanding to any technique being taught.
